Workshop - “Accreditation Strategies: Understanding the Revised NBEAC Accreditation Standards” 

Introduction:

The National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) has recently revised its accreditation standards to better align business education in Pakistan with emerging global trends, contemporary pedagogical practices, and evolving institutional governance needs. These revisions place greater emphasis on effective governance, quality assurance, outcome-based education, faculty development, research impact, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement mechanisms. In response to these changes, this training program has been designed to help business schools and accreditation focal teams develop a clear and practical understanding of the updated framework. The program provides participants with a structured walkthrough of the revised standards, highlighting key enhancements, new requirements, and the underlying rationale driving these reforms. The sessions will also highlight common challenges institutions face, offering practical insights and examples to strengthen compliance and facilitate smoother accreditation journeys.

Learning Outcomes:

This program will help the participants to understand:

• The concept of quality assurance at the HEIs and its impact on the HEIs' performance.
• The NBEAC accreditation process and roadmap.
• The key changes introduced in the revised NBEAC accreditation standards and the rationale behind these revisions.
• The detailed structure of the revised assessment report Forms 1-7.
• Each standard and sub-standard, including expectations, evidence requirements, and evaluation criteria.
• The documentation and data that business schools must prepare to demonstrate compliance with the revised standards.
• The common gaps and issues related to NBEAC accreditation and applying strategies to address them.

Target Audience:

This workshop is designed for business schools scheduled for accreditation reviews in Spring 2025 and beyond. Deans, Associate Deans, Heads of Departments, NBEAC Focal Persons, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) staff, and other faculty or administrators responsible for accreditation processes will particularly benefit from participating

Notes:

1. Workshop/Seminar Registration Fee:  35,000/-PKR.
2. In case of replacements, transfer and refund, participant should officially notify via email/letter to NBEAC 10 working days prior to the workshop. After that NBEAC will not entertain any claims and changes.
3. NBEAC may cancel or postpone a workshop/program due to insufficient registration or unforeseen** circumstances. In this case, NBEAC will refund registration fee but will not be responsible for any other related expenses including cancellation charges by airline and travel agencies.
   
4. In case of postponement, the fee may be transferred to the rescheduled offering of that workshop or any other workshop as an alternate to refund. The NBEAC reserves the right to make changes in its program policies and fees at any time.

** If unforeseen circumstances occurs during the workshop and one day before the scheduled workshop, NBEAC will not refund the registration fee.
