Peer Review Visit- UOS

The 44th peer review visit of NBEAC was held at University of Sargodha from 13th to 15th April 2015. After the warm welcome by Dean. Dr. Maqbool Sial, a brief discussion was held on the prospects of accreditation and its benefits to stakeholders. During the meeting with Vice-chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Chaudhary, it was informed that University of Sargodha comprises of eight faculties and department of Business Administration is under the scope of Faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences.


In-depth review was conducted on all nine criterion of NBEAC as per the information provided in the Self-Assessment Report, through onsite review and feedback of faculty and students.  The recommendations made by peer review team is based on the gap analysis that leads to the improvement of the department of Business Administration. It was emphasized to set a particular strategy and align vision and mission of Department with the University. It was also suggested to create synergies between departments.  PRT has also provided with the opportunity to have a meeting with alumni.


Dr. Shahid Mir, Chairperson, Dept. of Business Administration, IBA Karchi, was the team lead. Dr. Fareeda Saleem, HoD Dept. of Business Administration, Fatima Jinnah Women University Rawalpindi and Dr. Kumail Abbas Rizvi, Associate Professor, Lahore School of Economics also participated as Business Education experts and Mr. Ghulam Rasool, AVP (retd.) Habib Bank Pvt Ltd. represented the corporate sector in the team. Ms. Sania Tufail, Program Manager NBEAC was also in the team to represent NBEAC.


A detailed report along with the accreditation decision will be communicated to the Institute in June 2015 after the 14th meeting of the Council.
